About the Program

Dignity. Belonging. Independence.

The King's Table – Mephibosheth's Place is a supportive program of Designed to Soar, Inc. created to empower individuals with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities who can achieve greater independence with appropriate guidance, encouragement, resources, and community-based support.

Inspired by the biblical account of Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9, the program reflects a message of dignity, belonging, inclusion, and opportunity. Just as Mephibosheth was welcomed to the king's table, our program believes every individual deserves to be valued, respected, included, and given opportunities to reach their fullest potential.
