At Designed to Soar, Inc., we believe helping someone requires more than addressing one immediate need. The SOAR Continuum™ is our comprehensive approach to helping individuals and families move from instability toward independence, opportunity, and long-term success.
Our continuum connects housing, supportive services, employment, education, financial empowerment, and community resources so that each person can receive support based on where they are in their journey.
The Five Stages
STABILIZE → RESTORE → EMPOWER → ADVANCE → SOAR
Stabilize
We begin by addressing immediate barriers to stability. This may include housing assistance, resource navigation, basic-needs support, referrals, and connection to appropriate community services.
Restore
Once immediate needs are addressed, we help individuals and families strengthen the foundation needed to move forward. Support may include individualized planning, life-skills development, reentry assistance, advocacy, and connections to supportive services.
Empower
Participants gain tools to increase independence through workforce development, employment preparation, financial literacy, budgeting, credit education, educational opportunities, and personal development.
Advance
The focus shifts toward sustainable progress — including employment retention, increased income, permanent housing, savings, improved financial stability, and preparation for greater economic independence.
Soar
Our ultimate vision extends beyond temporary stability. We want individuals and families to build lasting independence, pursue homeownership and wealth-building opportunities, strengthen their families, and create a legacy for future generations.
